Anyways, the fabric store is haveing a buy one get 2 free event, so I'm going to go crazy and attemp to make one! Wish me luck!

Paris

Well this summer, I'll be going away to Paris and Europe for a week of two and I get to go shopping! My friend who went during this march break, bought many designer items from a really big mall in Paris that cost at last 80 euros a piece - like $100 each.

SO, I've decided to get a job so I can buy some things when I visit! I actually gave my resume to 4 fast food restaurents - a month ago. And guess what? NONE of them called me back. And to make things even worse, my friend said that she saw a "students wanted" (?) sign on the door for one of the places I applied to.

Anywho, I'm going to apply AGAIN in about, 3 weeks - or whenever my exams are done.

So I think other than going on vacation, my summer is going to be spent at summer school (overachiever) and possibly working (my first job). Woop-dee-doo.

Le Sac Dress

You've probably heard of the Le Sac dress right? Well if not, it's practically the ultimate convertable dress! You can wear it in so many different ways.

$38.00 - American Apparel

But if you don't want to spend the $38 (or like $45 -ish with tax) and you sorta know how to sew, you can defineately make it! Like the name says, its the "Le Sac" dress, aka, the bag.

Here's a tutorial of how to make it: Click!

She also shows to how to make a circle scarf, and check out her shirt skirt, its amazing!

I had bought some strechy red fabric a while ago because i wanted to make a dress for a themed dance (50's), but I didn't go (boohoo), and I'm thinking of making said dress :)

Personally, I've always loved that nautical look in the spring and summer, and this year is no different :)!

This skirt completes any nautical outfit:

Vero Moda

The other day, I went to Aldo to pick up some boots that I had ordered. Now it was in a strip mall, and I decided to browse the other stores for the fun of it.

There was this one store, called Oblige, who had this amazing sweater by Only, for $20- but they didn't have my size! Now usually they're around $50, so I was like HOLYMOLY.

When I was heading home from grocery shopping, I saw the same sweater in the store window of a store named $10 Fashion, for you guessed it, TEN DOLLARS! And as I was browsing the store, I came upon lots and lots of VERO MODA, ONLY, and H&M clothes. all for TEN DOLLARS! It was so crazy, I left the store with a vero moda party dress and tee, among other things. I'm pretty sure they were the fall 2008 items though.

Gladiators

These strappy sandals are very in again this spring, and you can wear them with practically anything. I would advise against wearing them when it's raining, as your feet will be soaked.

Spring!

It's spring again! And you know what that means, get rid of those fat coats and boots, and change into lighter, brighter styles! Which also means that many winter coats will be on sale (now's the time to buy that ski jacket you've always wanted!)
